The stories offer this simple recipe as a message to children – what to do when trouble comes along: always call on your friends when you need help, apply fantasy for problem-solving, never stop believing in miracles. Nations, religions and ethnicities not only unite but each one brings their unique values to help solve any issue. Fully illustrated, the tales are written in verse and are suitable for theater performances.

Venelin Valkanov’s captivating illustrations make this book an indispensable addition to the bookshelf of every child. His name is in the honorary listing of the “Hans Christian Andersen” award for illustration and his books for children are published in Japan, South Korea, Russia, Germany and Slovakia.

Lyubov Georgieva is a Bulgarian writer of children and adult literature. She is a co-founder of the English Speaking Union in Bulgaria. She became popular with the series „Sun Magics“ and „Tales in rhyme“. In 2001 two of her poems were published in the American Anthology of Love Poetry. She also is the exclusive translator of the literary and drama works of the British playwright Peter Barnes.

In the early 1970s Lyubov Georgieva studied in Marymount Convent Secondary School in Singapore, where she met pupils from different countries. Later this influenced her literary works in which the main idea is – people from all nations and religions should live together in peace and harmony.

As an English and Rhetorics teacher in 2013 Lyubov Georgieva was awarded by The American University in Bulgaria with Certificate of Recognition for her tireless contribution and dedication to the success of the young generation.

In 2015 she published her first novel for adults “Under the Veil of Time”.
